I would love to be able to sneak stuff in, but we both work from home. So Hubby always asked me, what I got there again. And that I had promised not to buy anymore plants this year. I just can`t help myself, when I see something I like I really really need to have it.

mine will get a nice surprise then on Friday.
My argument is, I want to grow everything so it can go in the Ground next spring and the yard looks even more beautiful. So everything have a long growing season.

Hey Texas Girl, how cold does it get in your town?  LSU Purple and Brown Turkey will grow great.  If you can, get yourself a Adriatic JH fig tree.  Just search for that name here and read what others have said about it.  There's a guy in Texas that has the mother tree.  The figs are green when ripe with a dark ruby red sweet center!  You will fall in love with that fig.

The average is 39F but since we are in a heavily wooded area it stays warmer, not sure how much. But should be warm enough for any fig trees.
