Help! Figs Sprouting, not rooting

It's been 3 weeks since I started rooting - exciting stuff.  Anyway, I have cupped a few - great roots, some have done nothings - just sticks in a box with sp moss lol, and some buds have sprouted with no roots!   I'd really like to see some roots.  Should I increase the moisture of the sp moss?  I have been trying not to keep it too moist from what I have read here about rooting in moss.  Here's a picture

Jo Ann,for this, I put them upside down, also, the bottom should be cut just below a node if you have too much spacing, seems to be slower. In all the literature that i read about preparing the cutting, tells to cut just below the node... Well, that and puting them upside down makes them force roots and they don't like to grow leaves downwards, so, they stop that process. It is easy, put them in the box you had with all their bottoms in one direction and lean the box, so their bottoms are up.  try that for 4 -5 days,  and will see the darn roots.

Thanks Grasa - I forgot you mentioned that recently - I will try it!
