Help ID

I have been growing this fig for the past ten years. An elderly Italian gentleman was kind enough to give me cuttings; of his fig.  He said he had been growing it for nearly 30 years. He also did not know the name except it was a dark Italian fig.  He received a plant from another Italian friend who had been growing it for a number of years. I was wondering if someone could place a name.

No help for you but it sure looks nice.

"Looks" like mission type:

willow (encanto) Kathleen Blk, Vista, NdC (noir de caromb). It's a pretty specimen. Looks productive. Not bad for an unknown

Nice find, Phil. Normally a fig with skin that dark will have a dark red center but that looks more amber to me. It looks like it as a nice tight eye too. Let us know how it tastes.

Lovely color. The speckles really set it off. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.
