It is Iberian though
Dark Portugal?
I've done the guess game before but with a picture of the fig. Now you're making it a lot harder for everyone.
Nero 601, Bob. ;)Isn't that awful how people do on the Price is Right.p.s. in light of another clue I am guessing Black Maderia
Pingo de mel
Brent refer to post #9 he says the dark fig types are on the other side of house .So in short this 1 he shows is of the light type.
Martin it is a dark fig
Sorbello red? Just sounds interesting. Can you give a hint as to if the fig we are guessing is rare or common?
Fariy rare but that depends on what part of the world you Live in
What are you waiting for Martin? Can I have your guess if you don't want it? especially if you have the correct answer...
Col de Dame Noir
Aldo's or Barbillone or Enrico or Noire de Caromb or Wuhan or Jean-Talon?
Very good Kerry Pm me please
Wait, which was it?
Whatever it was I guessed it first and I'll edit my first post to prove it :)
Col de dame negra
Good guess, I completely missed the post that said it was a dark fig.
Haha Nelson sorry good buddy But you wanted my large type Pingo or small?
The Iberian hint was what made me guess CdDN.Very generous of you to share a young plant.Next I expect you to post a pic of a single bud for us to guess the variety. Thanks ,Kerry
Haha
Good job Kerry. What is really interesting to me is that CdDN looks fairly hardy. It has been the mildest winter ever, but it must have been 15 there a few times right?
Gah! That was my next guess after Ronde (because I wanted one, not because I knew anything about it) but I thought, well that can't be Iberian...
Can I get one for being the dumbest?
KAC-11-30-E
I would have never guessed it (mucho info lacking). But now I do see that vigorous upright growth of the CdD_B resembling mine...
