This is my #50 one of my UNK very important to me,it was started last fall and I was able to harvest 5 figs from it, i didn't expect to much being so young, to my surprise they were very delicious ,(wish I was better at describing flavores) . Any help identifying this fig would be appreciated , thanks.

Mario, looks like a really good fig. It would help with the ID, if you could provide more info about the fig: ripening time compared to known varieties, does it produce a breba crop, origin of the fig etc.

John, this is a very young plant the few figs just ripened in my green house , just moved it there before first frost a month ago. It's possible being young is the only reason it ripened late

Mario - that is an outstanding looking fig no matter what it is. What is the origin of this unknown? Hopefully someone can help identify this purple fig. It almost looks like an i258 from what've researched on previously.

Matt , this fig was given to me it came from the house I was born in , a contrada called 'Casa di Lazzaro' of a small town in Abruzzo , the house has collapsed but two fig trees are steel there I have the second one also but it has not fruited yet. You can see why it's important to me.
