Help identify this fig please

This is a repost from earlier this year (Labor Day) and I am wondering if anyone has any feedback:

My friend Tom received this tree from an Italian friend.  The leaves have 3 shallow lobes.  The figs are small-medium white figs with a light white-amber interior, with a bright honey nectar-y flavor.  The flavor is great!  It has relatively thin skin.  I think it's a type of honey fig just but not sure. Any help would be fantastic.

Looks like a Kadota /Dottato. Nice fig and thanks for sharing. Best of luck on your quest and if you get a chance post a pic of the interior of the fruit for a more positive id!
