Welcome to the forum!

Thank you dave!

BTW this tree is in alabama

Welcome. For a proper ID, you need a close up of the dominant leaf type, the outside of a ripe fig, the inside of the ripe fig, and a pic of the eye.

Here's more... i m posting two eye pics... the one still on tree is not as ripe.

Thanks, and I think they'd be considered small, the fig I'm holding in my hand is one of the smaller ones but they don't get much bigger

Inside pic... Sry meant to post it with others

Welcome to the forum.
When asking for help in Id'ng figs, you also need a size reference.  Our standard appears to be a quarter placed next to the fig.

So in summary, place a leaf on a paper plate, place a quarter next to a fig that is whole and or cut in half lengthwise, show the eye as well, three picts should do it.  There is a lot of knowledge here and everyone wants to assist everyone.

What part of Alabama?

Hello Leiahm,
Welcome to the forum community.
IMO with pictured leaves and figs, either Southern Brown Turkey or Celeste.
Good Luck.

Thank you ascpete... Im leaning towards the brown turkey... It seems like in pics iv seen they are usually darker though.

brown turkey is larger right?? ... im now thinking celeste. haha... need more opinions

I think it's a celeste.

Leiahm,
The Southern Brown Turkey resembles the Celeste in both figs and older leaves. Here is an earlier topic with a few pictures and descriptions. My Southern Brown Turkey is now producing leaves that are almost identical to Celeste (5 lobed).

I'm new to all of this also so I don't have an opinion on the tree but I wanted to say welcome and glad to have you here.  =)

pete thank you I think that earlier post helped me. I also believe that mine has more 3 lobed leaves. and im going to check the eye on the younger figs out there to see if they are red or not.

Jules, thank you :)
