help identifying this fig?

Received it with a tag that read "Aldos" fig, also had another tag that said Red Sicilian. Any help? Hasn't fruits yet, this is the second year I've had it. I received it late last year from a local neighbor that sells trees from his yard.

I believe a lot of those Sicilian varieties are the same or similar. SalsC too

Your probably right. I have Sicilian Black also which I know is not the right name. It's loaded with figlets already....ill have to wait for ripe fruit to see what they is as well.

There are a number of figs that appear to be in the same family/group as Sal's Corleone (no one knows what the original name was in Sicily).
Sal's C., Enrico, Aldos, Sicilian Black JR, Gisotta Nero, Red Sicilian, Vincenzo ... I have several of these growing side by side and they are not the same fig.  Ripening times vary, fig taste, colour & size, breba production, leaf patterns  ... one thing they have in common they are all excellent quality figs but don't like a lot of rain.

Even though these Sicilian figs are similar there are hundreds of other varieties in Sicily not least of course the famous Mt. Etna figs undoubtedly the worlds best producing & tasting cold climate figs.
