Here is a fig I purchaed from Whole Food last year. They labeled it as a Black Spanish. Is this what it is? Are there any other names for this fig as I can't find too much information about it. Note that when the figs first appear they do have that very purplish color particularly at the end of the fig. Thee figs have not even starting to ripen although in the photo they appear as if they are! Thanks for your help!
