I'm buying a new house and it has a fig tree already established on the property. In this area, the top two most likely contenders are Desert King and Brown Turkey. I realize we'll have a better idea once the fruit ripens and I will update again once that happens. That won't be till the end of summer though.

Lots of huge leaves, most have this 3 lobe pattern. Some smaller leaves have more of a 5 lobe pattern.

Yes, congrats on finding the house!  It must be a relief that the searching phase is over.

I will put my guess in as Desert King, it has leaves like mine does, plus the abundance of the white lenticels on them.  This of course is only guess and I curious what it turns out to be.

Thanks guys. It's still technically pending inspection. That was done today and we have some re-negotiating to do based on the findings of the roof and the well. I'm hoping we can work it out and get the winkles ironed out soon.

Chivas I hope you are right. A DK would be much preferred over BT.
