Thanks for tip. I usually just put in pot buried most of the way and have 95 % success. Just herd a lot of talk of new ways. Should,stick to proved method. I live in south louisiana. So probably dont need all the extra,work.

Oooh, I agree with Wills.  I didn't know Spanish moss could get that waterlogged.  You need air circulating around the cutting or it will rot.  That means a fast draining soil or perlite or something similar.  If those cuttings have been like that for more than a few hours you might think about bleaching them.  Use the directions on the bottle.

Yall are right. The rest of,them are in perlite. Was a experiment with one cutting. The rest are in mostly perlite with 20 percent vermiculite

This is another experiment. These are Brooklyn white. I found a bag of miracle grow soil specifically made for cuttings. That what the bag says on it. Comes premixed with fertilizer in it. Two weeks this is what i got. I kept them in five gallon bucket with plastic wrap over top no heat mat. Inside my greenhouse with s.all heater so its warm and,humid
