Hey guys i know its been awhile, here is an update on how things are going. been working as a plant sales person and expert (i use the term expert loosly). not a bad gig but i work 7 days a week but only a few hours here and there. but am on call as well. doing some drywall on the side as well. in july once the plant season is overwith on the retail end i am looking to go back to school to get my cna, and possibly Lpn or Rn. somthing to fall back on.

Got the fig hedge in, trees not big but they will grow.
The hardy chicago i over prunned in winter showes me i can bring it down.
Top killed purple Magnolia back with a vengence. more than 26 tops now.
and the front to the green house. figured i would spice it up a bit with my name.
on another note my blue celest was top killed and is comming back, though i donot expect any fruit on it this year i will protect it this winter. if i donot get ripe figs next year from this tree i am going to kill it. fig drop has been so bad with this one that while i have been growing it for four years i have never gotten a ripe fig from it. hundreds dropped last year before they were ripe.
