How often do you lime potted figs?

I use 1 tablespoon dolomite limestone for approximately every gallon of pinebark growing medium.

Last year, no problems and great results with this mix and fertigating with 3/4 tsp per gallon Foliage Pro, and 1/2 tsp per gallon of ProTek.

This year I tried same, but we did have an unusual amount of clouds and rain, and have been dealing with lots of discolored leaves.

Most of the leaves are generally light in color.  I first thought Mg deficiency due to how it first manifested, I added epsoms salt, then a product Cal-Mag which has iron as well, some improvement short lived.

I dropped Protek fearing too much K unbalancing Ca, some more improvement.  Fearing my new this year Foliage Pro might be wonky, I purchased Miracle Grow and applied at 1/2 tablespoon per gallon.

I have seen much more improvement, but MG is seeming more expensive  (I bought a small one, gone in 2 waterings, maybe larger amount will be more cost effective). How often do I water with MG?  Is there a better alternative, and cheaper dry fertilizer?

Thanks

I use 50/50 10-10-10 & lime pellet. Not sure if it's a perfect mix but seems to give me good results. All of my figs are in pots. 15 gal pots get a cup. Potting soil is 50/50 pro mix HP & PBF.

I do once a year, when doing up-potting in the spring.  And also with any new planting.

All the rain is washing out the nitrogen. I've been using osmocote about once a month this year.

I just used lime on my potted figs.great for raising the ph and calcium.
