How to keep your trees labeled

Hey everyone TONYSAC here just thought you might like to see what I found on eBay I did some research and couldn't find them any cheaper on line so I bought them I hope I helped someone who needs them heres the link

Drink a beer, cut the aluminum can in strips, emboss the name and year of the varietal, and punch a hole in it.  Stick it on a stake next to the tree, and it is a forever tag for free!  Plus!  You get to drink a beer!

We do this for all our wine grapevines which are legion, and our figs too.

I know that trick but the labels are like razor blades once cut besides for 10.50 shipped with the wires to hold them on its not worth the hassle ? But I will have a drink while filling my labels out :)

Thanks for doing all the work for me Tony. I really appreciate you. I agree with you about the razors, but I agree with Suzi about the beer! LOL!

I use a P-touch labeler. I know its not that cheap, but they last and do not fade under the weathering. ......Angelo Zone 7A NY

Your welcome Donald. Did you end up getting them ?? An Angelo thats a good idea because they have a plastic label I have a P-touch oh well

Say Jon, what does that cost you to make?  I'm using left over gutters cut with tin snips and using a dremel to insrcibe the name.  I'm also using soft alumnium maker and zip ties.

by the end of drinking session, i'll forget completely about the label.. lol

i just write the name on the pot. if the tree decide to run away from the pot, i won't try to stop it.
