i'm determined not to lose the mulberries this yr. have clonex ready to be used. now.. putting on the hormone is not all that difficult, but i never used them before.. here is a question... more like few.. 

do i put on the hormone and put into the baggies? or do it just put them into cup/pot? does scoring or scraping help? or do i skip that part?

I use a box knife to cut a half moon under each node to be buried. I also cut 2-4 vertical cuts at the base about haf an inch long or to the bottom node (whichever is shorter). I brush all of the cuts with Clonex, then dip the bottom into a shallow bowl of the stuff. Afterwards, it goes into a bag of growing mix.
