This explosion is in upper Manhattan.  I know we have members in the city, but not sure where.  Prayers for all.  I hope you are all OK!

Thanks for the concerns, but as far as I know, no one on the forum lives in the area where this gas explosion occurred. 

Two, five-story buildings were blown to bits and leveled.  So far two women lost their lives, 18 were injured, and, at least 6 people cannot be located.  FDNY says...."gas leak", not terrorists.  Reports from local residents who have smelled gas fumes, point to a gas leak.  God help them all.

This is the kind of thing that can happen anywhere to anyone. It's really scary. Prayers to everyone who may have been affected.

A total of six poor souls lost their lives, and dozens have been displaced.  Many have lost all their possessions, etc.  Sad, and tragic turn of events.
