I saw the Broadway play "Mamma Mia" over the weekend.  The stage props and background scenery were pretty minimalistic as far as Broadway shows go...but one piece of background scenery that made it into the background of many scenes was a huge, stylized fig tree!  The play is set on a small Greek island.  I spent the majority of the show distractedly wondering what variety it was supposed to be...
