Hunt fig photos

Well, you know what they say......"you always remember your first".  Honestly I might forget this one, it was very non-descript.  Very, very slight fig flavor; very slightly sweet, a couple of cruncy seeds, soft skin.  Looks better than it tasted.  Here's my caveat though.....it is in a 6.5 gal SWC that just started working on its own a couple of weeks ago, I only had one to taste, it is a young tree and maybe it needed another day on the tree, but I couldn't wait any longer.

Disappointed that my white plate background gives everything a blue hue.

Give it another year or two, the description in the variety page indicates it will get better.

I expect more from a fig that I share my last name with.

Steve,
Thanks for the pictures. Give it some time. The first ones are never as good as the ones to come. (I may be paraphrasing another member : )

Well that is too bad, it certainly looks good. I vote to give it another year. Thanks for sharing.

Any updates on this fig? The pictures from LSU fieldday sure look good.
