Hunt, LSU Purple, Alma, Improved Celeste

I let LSU Purple fruit hang a few extra days to make sure it is ripe.

Hunt may or may not tinge brown to ripen, though it will eventually. Seems to be not very fussy to grow. Same for LSU Purple and Improved Celeste.

Flavor reports at bottom of post.

LSU Purple:

Hunt below. If anything, most Hunt figs are typically more elongated than the one below. Very tight eye. Has interesting kind of shovel like leaves:

Hey Tony great looking figs! Where you at in WV? My wife is from St.Albans.

Nice looking figs and great photos, Thanks Tony, congrats.

Far north of St. Albans, just south of the Pennsylvania border. I did live in Central Texas for several years, San Marcos (and then South Texas, Mexican border, for longer).

The inside of Alma looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Small world! I live in Canyon Lake, about thirty mins drive from San Marcos! Anyway, great looking figs.
