For anyone in the Los Angeles area, who is interested in figs, I have signed up to do a presentation on October 25th at the Huntington Gardens and Library. This is part of a series of presentations on edible urban gardening, and an exciting opportunity for me. In addition to the fig presentation, I am hoping that this might be an opportunity for exploring ways to provide for the long term preservation of and access to the Figs 4 Fun Collection.

Supposedly the Huntington is videotaping to post on their website. Don't have further details currently.
