I have a question on rooting a cutting

someone gave me is unknown Greek , can someone please tell me if I can rooted the way I have it
in the photo? ( meaning without cutting it)
Or do I have a better chance by chopping it into 3?
I really like the way it looks now

I'm going to buy spagnum moss tomorrow and do it the right way

If that was mine I would make 4 cuttings out of it cut off the 2 limbs on the right and whack  whatever is left in half

I agree with Dave.  The two branches are perfect looking cuttings.  Plus, your chances of 1 or more successful trees increases when you separate them.

If you trim those longer branches, leaving 1 or 2 nodes in the main branch, chances are you will have a bud growing out of them - root the tips you cut, Frank is right, increase your chances, can always trade with another if they all make it.

Also, I would wrap the moist paper around the branches, as they tend to dry out and if you leave it as is, you will loose the tip to dry air anyway.  I rooted long cuttings, and i wrap them all in lose newspaper moisted, with 2 plastic bags, one for the top and one for the bottome which i open more frequently to check moist and seen their roots..

chop it

It is very possible to root the whole branch as is, I've done it just to see if I could. But like others have said you would have a better chance if you cut it up into 4 pieces. Four chances versus one would be better odds. If you choose to root it as one and it gets moldy and rots or doesn't root at all then you're left with nothing. Chop the cutting up and then you can shape four trees to what ever you want them to look like. Chop - Root - Shape!
