I have a ton of Cuttings to share!

The fist fig I ever took cuttings from needs to be severely trimmed. I think I will have 1000 cuttings to share. I'd trade for any variety I don't have or $20 for at least 25 cuttings (including shipping) I don't have the ability to store them long term as cuttings so I'd rather not bundle any smaller than that. I need to take this fig down to the fence line so you see how many I have. You can search my older posts for pictures. It is a golden yellow fig from Sorrento that I call U. 'Sorrento.' Please email me (easier to keep track that way). Thanks.

Plenty of cuttings left. I will update when They're gone. If you prefer over 1" thick (older) wood let me know. Less of those will fit in a box.

I am ready to send, can you send.......?

HEARTBREAK!!!

I took that 12' bush down to 4' today. When I went to trim off all the side shoots for shipping. I'm convinced that every single one of them is dead. I'm sure the bush itself will be fine, but I can't in good conscious send out those cuttings. I'm truly sorry and disappointed. For those of you that already sent PayPal money, I will return it. I started a bunch of Sorrentos last year, and still have them in my greenhouse. If they've pulled through the winter, maybe we'll try this again with bare rooted plants. :-( Sorry everybody.

put the cuttings in a bucket of water... and forget them... if they are alive you will notice little green tips... by then, it will be warm, you plant them in the ground..and unearth them in the fall for bareroot shipping...

I will try to root the logs. I have about 30' of 2-3" logs that look like they are still green. I'll give those a shot. I have plenty of this variety for myself. I just wanted to share it.

Patriota,
Can you tell me what a Noble Nero fig is? I've never seen that variety before. Any info would be appreciated.
thx.

I only got one Chicago Hardy in this years exchanges, that one appears to be growing, the rest of CH pooped out.  The grapes are seed and seedless, but since I got a ton in exchanges cannot tell which ones will yield seed.

Info on Nero N at bottomof the page at http://www3.sympatico.ca/saracej/pino.htm

I will trade for raspberry latte (saw one post on eBay), marseilles black, negronne, lattarula, and italian black

thx
