The plant I received was tiny and didn’t look like a fig. Took forever to get moving and then it grew pretty good but did not put out any figs.

That wayward branch will be trimmed.

"Hendersonville, TN. The story goes that this 80 yr old woman's Grandfather brought a small tree 
over from Italy. He kept the tree alive with water from his canteen while traveling by boat 
from Italy to New York. One of his cuttings was planted 40 years ago on the side of 
her house and the rest is history. The figs are large green with a strawberry colored pulp."
