I have ROOTS!!!

The experiment continues. . .

I also planted scions in perlite and pro-mix (50/50) in a plastic container that does not seal shut but allows some, but not too much, air flow.  Container is approx. 6"x4" x  4 1/2" tall.  I covered the scions with 1 to 1 1/2" of soil, watered and closed the lids.  This was also done on March 6th.

Well - today . . .  I HAVE ROOTS and pretty nice ones on 3 of the cuttings.

Since I don't know how to add pics here, I will put the link in for the pics.

Comments welcome of course.

I am just thrilled, but now what do I do???  Can you tell I am a rookie at this?  The leaves have to green up I think.

See the pics (click on 'full size' top, right) and let me know if you think they are ready for the gallon bucket!

I want to say thanks to all here for their help too.  Thanks

Linda,

Your pics indicate that they are ready to pot. Use filtered light to start with and take your time indoctrinating them to more light. I would make this move about every 10 days until they are making good growth with leaves greening up good. Good luck.
