I hope this is not too off topic

I have a new Fig Desktop Background I found on Google Images. Do you have a favorite Fig Desktop Background?

Pretty!

Nothing better than nature pictures.

It reminds me the coral when I go scuba diving.

hmm.. that looks like something i can do with my Kathleen's Black.. if i prune it carefully..

Absolutely stunning.

Can you imagine eating that much figs of that tree. Now question: What if you have a bunch of figtree's growing like some of the forum members have,lol.Scrary.

Here is a picture of one of my many in ground tree's. This tree is 9 feet tall X 9feet wide.

luak thanks for sharing. Does anyone else have any fig or fig tree pictures suitable for a desktop background?

Thanks, elin.

I found I don't like the new way displaying photos in a roll-over method. In order to view the elin's pics, I have to save them first because they don't fit on my screen as displayed.
Is it only me or like this for everybody?

Thisisme, that's a beautiful pic.  Any idea where it's located?

greenfig

I though it was just my display, the picture are to big.

Thanks elin, I saved a few and am using one now.

Me too green fig. You either have to edit them or... I right clicked on the and emailed them to me. In the process it give me the option to change the resolution. Once I receive the email I save them to my Desktop Background folder.

Dave I did a google search for that one. Not sure where it is because I went to the original pic instead of the the web page it came from.

This is one of my inground trees.  It's grown a lot bigger since this picture.

Wow, how many different varieties can I graft on that tree?

Martino, have you had good results with grafting several varieties to one tree?

Chapman, I am just starting out.  I wish I have a big one like that in the pic to play with.  I have tried, just for fun, grafting 3 different varieties on a few small plants only recently.  Only time will tell how they will turn out.

Hi
my pictures were 14M .
anyhow if you view them they cover most of the screen and on the lower right side if you scroll down there is a save button......

Nice pictures, I hope my trees get that big. Luak , in your picture are the bottles hanging to deter birds?

Funny you ask,it is just something new i am doing to deter deer. Sofar it worked.I did a lot of persimmon and paw paw grafting a couple of weeks ago and i hang red tape by the graft area. You know, anything that moves they keep a distand.
If i could grow figs in a zone that is safe from winters i would grow all my figs that way. When i was in Spain and Italy they seem to grow all their figs that way. So i am doing the best i could with my zone 7a. Some of my figtree's are bigger than the one in the picture and i have 9 big ones the rest smaller, two and 3 years old.
