She's gone to a better and pain free place. I feel for your pain though. Please accept my heart felt condolences. Perhaps she left a trace of love for you in your figs so each one will be a reminder of the magical bond between a son and his mother.

I'm very sorry about your mom. My mom was a plant person too. When she died someone wrote in the paper that she would live forever in the gardens of all the people she had given plants to. Your mom's spirit will live forever in your figs.

The loss of a mother can never be compared to any other pain. For our mother brought us into this world and showed a love without limits. Treasure the shared moments and memories of being with your mom and your shared love for figs. She is now and forever will be in peace and out of pain.
