Home from vacay. My neighbor watered, and she's a better gardener than I, so no way I can blame this on her. I have NO figs on my tree or tomatoes. When I left, I at least had what was left on my brown turkeyeste after the fig drop I experienced because of draught/extreme heat. I had figlets on my one gallon LSU purlple. Now I have nothing. Those of you on the board know of my bird/critter woes, but now I just don't know what to do. I plan to prune my old turkeyeste back, so I can net it more easily next year, and I will net my LSU, but beyond that I am at a loss. Any tips?
I so jealous of all those old neighborhood people who have neglected fig trees that produce more figs than they can give away. I'm going to go on Craig's list and see if anyone has any figs to sell then I'm going to their house to buy and interrogate them.
