look what one very strongv gust of wind to only one of my fig trees. It striped all the clothing of of it. What a shame since it standing there among all the others that have all their leaves still attached to them.
I tried pulling the fruit from the tree but all of them are attached very well.

The wind targeted only that one?  Too close to that fast car in the road?  Are those paint mixing cans they are planted in?

Very sad. When I used to have roses, some were more prone to wind damage than others. After some very strong gusts, some had their leaves riped right off, and others were only slightly damaged.

That's not a terrible thing. Give it extra plant food. It will a. Least guarantee ripe figs this year!

I get my plastic containers from two different places. The local diner down the road from me. They had contained edible items in them. The other comes from a person I know that works where they sell some sort of paint ingredients. The tubs he gets me are new and never contained anything in them at all. His company always orders extra containers than they need. If the employees want them they let them have them

I knew I recognized them!  They are my wine making primary's AKA the place where the wine grapes ferment!  Get them for cheap, but I pay, at Home Depot.  Food Grade.  I have a few full of fermenting red wine...

You have to protect your stuff. All my trees are sheltered. Wood and screws are cheap. NOT if you MENTION pressure treated wood of which I make all my posts is very expensive. Yes expensive but never rot.
