I would like to ask

WHITE PATLICAN.png   : The fig varieties--WHITE PATLICAN , It need for pollination or no?  WHITE PATLICAN.png

I'd like to know the answer to this also! I have em growing from seed about two feet tall no figs yet.

Growing one from seed is about like expecting LaBron James' offspring to be just like him in basketball. You gotta a 99% chance its worse, and 1% chance its better. Sexual reproduction (which is what you get if you don't use cuttings/tissue culture) never turns out like the parent.

~ i agree why would you start trees from seed when cuttings /or air layering is so easy and guaranteed to get a clone of the parent plant ,that will be the same as the parent ?

The reason is to get a new variety. When so much different pollen is available the chances of a new variety is very high. Grown by seed is a enjoyable hobby. Just my opinion. Nice work FIGROVE

Very nice looking fig!!
Is white patlican fig from the Anatolia area of Turkey.  (also called Anatolian Green?)
Can you test the seeds and see if they float?
If they are fertilized seeds then that would indicate the main crop needs pollination.

Thank you very much for your reply.
