I Would like You To Meet Nick's Big & Juicy.

Well they are Big and Juicy...

And I think the name has an appetizing ring to it.

Picked up this Fig Tree as an " Unk "

Have not been able to mach the leaves or Figs to another named tree.

Very Productive with a nice Breba  and two more crops of very large
plump, somewhat longish brown figs.

In-fact it is still producing, with No added fertilizer since the begining of the season.

Even with all the rain I have had in my area last month, did get watery but did not split or sour.

Medium to small closed eye, with red flesh and a sweet figgy taste.

Any thoughts on any similar Fig tree that matches?

edit. Added pics of leaves

No idea, but if you ever have cuttings, please let me know.  Do you like the taste of the fruit??  If you had to rate it against your other figs, how does it stand up, and what fruit thus far is your most highly rated--and why?

I like DomiNICK'S  Big and Juicy better!

Hi Sara.

I really, really like the taste, very flavorful, with a nice amount of sweetness and figgy ness.

My best tasting fig so far, considering it's in it's first year and was water logged.

Waiting for the one above to ripening, which should be soon.

I also liked my Black Madeira , Stella, " Jlo "  my unknown purple
" antenna  fig ", and Pane e vino dark.

Still have a few that may ripen too that I have not yet tasted.

We are getting a warm spell ( tomorrow should hit 85 ) with no rain.

Will try to send you a cutting, when I send out the other two to you.

Thanks Nick!  One day I will have fresh figs from my own plants.  BIG SIGH

i bet that would make a great jam. the color is beautiful. looks tasty.

Can you post some photos of your Pan e Vino Dark?

Thank you.

Will  get the Pane e Vino dark up in a thread shortly.

It really is a delightful fig.
