I fell in love, love ,love with the beautiful leaves of Ice Crystal. Is there a similarly leafed variety, one that doesnt require wasps?

mine has figs on them hope they ripen soon 

So long as you have the space and you do not go overboard, I think it is okay to have a tree or two that you like even if it/they do not produce fruit.

I'm still to taste a fig from my IC . Just one did not drop ... who knows ... Who has a crystal ball ?

My Ice Crystal has set fruit and dropped it for 3 years now, not very hopeful to get ripe figs. Afghan fig has similar leaves but also will not produce
