I have two fig trees that I would like some help trying to ID. I've included pictures of tree, fruit and leaves for each tree. Any assistance would be great. I'm trying to attach pictures for the first time....hopefully all goes well. Here is Unk #1 Sorry, i have no split fig picture for #1">http://">http://">http://and here is unkn #2">http://" class="bbc_img">
No. 2 is possibly a White Marseilles.
Sarah the first fig's leaves resemble Strawberry Verte. If so, then the center of the fig would be red. No expert but that's my guess.
This poor tree really needs a good thinning! the figs look great. I have a fig that looks like your number 2. it was sold to me as white adriatic... very sweet and I love it.. it was first crop ever, so, it should improve as it ages.
Ficazana is what the Italians call it but it goes by other names in other countries. If you let them rippen more the sweetness and flavor will be outstanding.Jose
#2 is Latarulla,italien variety of a white productive fig(see pictures),#2 is Vezuviana Bianca(sorry,can't find photos).my 2 cents....
