This is a fig from my collection. A lady purchased a plant from me last year and said this was her best tasting fig. So she sent me a picture of it.

I think its Carolina Dark.

I am not sure how it would be possible, but I will say Zidi, and I suppose this is my final guess.  I thought VdB, since it sometimes has characteristics of Mission (the interior color)... but I'm not convinced.
