I need help identifying this fig, i bought the cutting from Armando on Ebay view days ago(he dont know the variety), what he know this fig have a medium size with a rich red color pulp with a light green skin and has a Sweet Rasberry flavor, i just want to know what variety it is. You got Green Ischia.
In most other cases the leaves of Green Ischia are looking a little different,more irregular,but that is because most specimen of this cultivar,are heavily infected with Fig mosaic virus.
Your tree is healthy so therefore the leaves are as they suppose to look.

oh wow.. the seller also sell green Ischia in his auction, this is the picture, he said this is a huge fig n sweet (but not to sweet).. is Green Ischia have raspberry taste? thx before Herman for helping identifying the fig.. bezt regards.. Hartawan

yes it does have strawberry taste the better the climate when it is ripening,the stronger the taste.
Good climate for fig mean dry and sunny,while ripening.
Green Ischia does not make huge figs,it makes large Brebas(a few),and medium size main crop fruits.
That is if the plant is healthy,if not,you would rarely get a handful of fruits a year  some years nothing.
