I would second,Atreano,and my second choice,to your northen latitude,I would grow Gino's fig.
It is one of the very few figs,that last year,wich was the coldest worst for figs here in new Jersey,yet Gino's fig,was having top flavored well riped fig.
As an example Violette de Bordeaux,Paradiso white,Bayernfeige,English Brown Turkey,LSU Gold,had all watery splitting figs.Others as Col de Dame,did not ripe at all.
In 2007,the above figs were all excellent tasting,so it was the cold rainy Sommer that spoiled the quality of these figs.
That is Why,from my little tree,I sent a couple of cuttings to my doughter in Law.parents,back in Romania Europe.
Well I did not notice that you specifically asked for figs with breba crop.
Gino's fig does not have a breba crop,only a main early crop.
For breba fig tree nothing beats Desert King.
