Workers was performing work in Kindergarten viewed surprised on the roof of the building has sprouted a small fig.

Good grief that's a ton of roots!

I guess it needed all those roots since they were sitting in the open, baking sun all day. That is one tough little fig three!

Amazing the tenacity of that tree to grow!!

I wonder if you can SQUEEEEEZE those roots into a 5 gallon pot?

I bet a 100 gallon would even be too small.

My guess is those roots were sandwiched between or covered with a layer of some sort of roofing or sheeting to allow them to spread like that.

It looks like a giant beard.  Yikes
