you know, maybe it's worth it to grow male figs and hand pollinate Smyrna figs in pots, what do y'all say?

Impressive!
Hand pollination? Which 1-2-3-4-5 trees would you pollinate? Francisco has at least 10 trees that we all need. That would be incredibly labor intensive. What if a mocking bird pecks a whole in it. Poof. Mushroom cloud and thne headline..JD Eradicates Mocking Bird Population in 8B.

On the question of hand pollination , I have made enough suggestions in the past year and ... and I am almost sure that some day one of you will show pictures to this forum and tell us...I did it!!
