Here's what I did to get a Kathleen's Black rooted for a friend during the winter months with limited indoor space. I had a Kathleen's Black fig with an extra branch, and a Salavatski pomegranate in another pot offcentered so had some space left over in the pot. I just put the pots near each other next to a sunny window and bent a little/buried the KB branch far from the pom. Worked well. Kind of like ground layering indoors. I guess it's pot layering.


Nice roots!!! Snipped him off a month or two ago and he's been a happy boy since.
