I live in southeast ga, about 40 miles inland.I am looking for info on some types of figs that will do well here and produce good tasting fruit at an early age. I have read where some trees take years to reach there peak of flavor. Since I'm just starting out I would like some good figs to eat soon. I will still plant others (I am about to root my LSU PURPLE cuttings) but a good quick fix will be nice. I like all kinds of figs. We have a hot , l o n g , humid growing season and depnding on the year it can be wet or drought but I can water them if I need to..
