Interesting discussion about cambium

For figs, the answer is All Colors Of The Rainbow depending on your species/hybrid and cultivar. In grafting, color is less important than cellular function. I know many of you are interested in grafting multiple types to a single rootstock. In my opinion you are deluded, the best approach is to grow singular trees of the fruit you desire and abandon the rest.

I mentioned the color because I remember there was a grafting thread or two where it was discussed. As far as the grafting itself, I personally just like doing it with figs to see if the result is successful, etc. and to improve my skills.
It is more important with the stone fruit, avocados, and citrus, to name a few.

I have the lsu version of these books. it is a college book i got from a library book sale. Even has diagrams and pictures too. Lol.

No difference except the cover. DK Books publishes it under their brand name and also for the AHS. Identical content inside. Sometimes one is less expensive than the other, depending on the seller.
