Hi. I just joined.  I am a retired teacher of English and writing and a published author with 13 Kindle books on Amazon.
I have a mother fig that I got about 40 years ago from neighbors in NJ who are Italian immigrants.  The original fig came from Belluno, Italy, about 60 miles north of Venice in the Dolomite region.  If you are interested in this variety that has no name that I'm aware of (I have named it Almaria after the Italian couple who gave me the first cuttings), you can email me at ebuhrer@verizon.net
