Hi,

I have recently started really getting into growing figs. I live in north Florida. I remember going to my grandmothers and picking some of her figs.I have several fig trees from hers growing in my yard. We think they are either brown turkey or celeste Now that I am grown up I am really starting to get into the figs. And thanks to Grasa I now have some Adriatic cuttings I am trying to root.

And if any one has a panache fig cuttings or a small bare root plant they have to spare I would be glad to pay shipping and some extra.

Glad you found us. Not trying to get too personal but North Florida is a BIG area. If you live near Tallahassee their are several fig experts near you. If you live near Pensacola you're kinda stuck with me an amateur but I'm learning.

I'm new here too, just joined a few days ago and learning a lot from everyone.  I have a panache tiger I just put in the ground a few weeks ago.  It's still getting established, but as soon as it's safe I'll be glad to send you a cutting.  I'll need to get some advice on how, though. :)

Welcome! I'm also a new fig grower. I have a young Panache but the branches are still new/soft. If you need cuttings in a year, I would be happy to send you some :) Good luck with your Adriatic cuttings!

My grandfather grew quite a lot of fruit and vegetable plants but he bought figs-not sure why since he had such a green thumb. He lived in the San Francisco Bay Area-not sure if that is why or not.

I am new too. I do not get a lot of time to post but I try to read the forum when I can.
