Hello all,
Although I have posted a few times I haven't introduced myself yet.  I live near Fayetteville, NC very close to the 7b and 8a zone border.  Fayetteville is a bit warmer than Charlotte or Raleigh, but not quite so mild as Wilmington for those familiar with NC.  I am only in my second year growing figs and have experienced die-back on my young trees from last year due to the extremely cold winter.  I have some trees from different nurseries and some from Ebay and a couple TC trees from Wellspring gardens.  Most trees have been planted in the ground this year since I moved to this location this past winter.  I have some experience with cuttings since I tried various methods in the winter/spring to discover what works for my location and what doesn't although I do have a ton to learn.  I will prune most of my figs to tree form although some will purposefully be maintained as bushes and some will grow unpruned.  I am open to exchanges of trees or cuttings and I look forward to my continuing fig education.

Brian
