Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce myself the folks on this forum. After being on the sideline viewing posts and pictures for the past month I have come to know some of you.  At least it seems to me.
I  go by Manel (Manny) A Viet-Nam Vet living in Tucson, Arizona the past several years. Originally from Portugal.  Have lived in Ct., NYC Jersey, etc..
I Have at the moment a small collection of figs that that i started over a year ago.
B Turkey, Mission, Conadria, Texas Blue Giant, Black Jack, Cellest, W Genoa, Kadotta and some other unknowns.
Fig trees where part of the landscaping when growing up but I took it all for granted back then.  Came to the states in my early teens.
Now after discovering Figs4Fun my interest has been rekindled into a fun hobby and joy of propagating and eating figs.

I'll be looking to chat with all of you.      

Wish list:  Dark Portuguese, Black Madeira and others that I don't have

Just got back from Portugal 2 days ago.I was still eating little figs there ,so sweet and juicy.
I did manage to bring some Pingo de Mel and Sao Jean cuttings back that are grown in the Alentejo.
