Iranian white

This is a Perisan fig from north west Iran. The tree seems to be very productive. It is very early, earliest in my collection this year for mine crop, about the same time as Florea, however since it's in a pot not sure how early it would be in the ground, but it's still earlier than the other potted trees I have for a main crop.

The sweetness is excellent, with a unique figgy flavor similar to the other mid eastern varieties in flavor. The Skin peals off on its on, bu I like the skin, it's not thick.
It's definitely a keeper and a winner so far. I would say it's about 2-3 years old.

I like one of those trees for my short growing season. Thanks for the pic's Bass.

very nice pic Bass.  I need to stop by soon.

Hi Bass.  The Iranian White definately looks like a real winner.

Thanks for your great work in finding all these very interesting and promising varieties.

Best wishes.

Awesome tree.

that one looks crunchyyyyyyy!

Beautiful tree Bass. Are you still using the G-10 for your photos?

Is it the same as "Persian unknown" from user persianninja (Arian from PA) ?

Bass, a nice looking tree! What soil did you use for it?

Beautiful tree. Is this the same as your Persian White or is it a different cultivar?

Leon, yes it's a G-10

Planteur, this is a different one. This came from an iranian grower from NYC. All he said it was from northern Iran.

Green fig, this is in the same potting mix I use with all my trees and I also use a slow release fertilizer. Potting mix consists of pine bark, peat moss, and perlite.

And that's Persian white.

I killed 2 cuttings and 1 left that's hanging in there. Really want Persian White to live long enough for me to taste it.

Really nice tree and early, nice find Bass!

Cool, it is nice to hear about different variaties.  Thanks
