Iraqi fig from johnsvmf1

I got this fig from johnsvmf1 via eBay a few years back. He was an active member here at one time. His sons have been selling a few plants here and there the past few years to help pay for schooling.
The story to go with this one was fairly interesting, it was reportedly growing near the victory over America palace near Baghdad. Cuttings were taken by the father I believe during the gulf war? And brought home and grown.
I reached out to them the past few years and they don't seem to know of this needs pollinated or if its a common type, but for the first time for me it has a little figlet, so time will tell.
Does anyone else have this same fig from them?
