lowes.. that was too easy. i'll go check them out today.

pete

They have a kit or you can piece it yourself. Good luck!

Pete, this time of year they are on sale at Lowes.  I've been buying parts for a system over 20 years!   I knew one day I would want to install one.  Lowes have this kit in a bag.  It comes with 25 feet of 1/2in poly tubing, back flow value, 2 micro-sprinklers, punch tool and connectors for $10 bucks.  In my area only one Lowes had them on sale....so I bought 3.  The other Lowes had them for $19.  My system has over 300ft of poly tubing so why did I just get these kits?  I liked the aready made sprinklers in the bag plus it came with 2 addtional sprinkler heads.

dennis,

i saw one online at lowes for that $19 one. i think that will work for me. i only have 3 potted plants, and if and when i get to have cuttings rooted, i might have at most 10 plants.

i was looking at spot spitters set up, but i think it would be much cheaper to go with lowes thing.

Yeap, agree.  Since you have pots, you won't need those Micro-sprinklers in that kit.  What you will need are the drip emmiters.  They are the best for containers.  They look like a fat black button on a 6 inch spike.  You  can adjust the flow of water by turning the button head counter-clockwise.  Lowes, have them too, they come 5 in a small bag.

If you're looking for a larger kit for more pots, I've ordered from DripIrrigation.com twice now and they were quite good:

I'm thinking I'll be able to reuse most/all of the parts once I'm able to build a greenhouse.

Dripworks.com for most of what I have. I use Ewing for local purchases.
