Not enough to help you Richie. I'm sure one of the veterans will chime in.

13-13-13 indicates 13% each nitrogen-phosphate-potash. So it could have some ammonium phosphate but also has some potash in some form.

I'd use the stuff as a general use fertilizer. It's not likely to be toxic or otherwise bad for figs.

Thank you. i heard some fertilizer's can make figs taste funny or poisoning the fruit. Thanks fig nut

Any chance you could post a pic (or two) of the bag?

Sure

Here pics of all the wording read the bottom of first pic that were it states types of nitrogen and such

Thanks for posting the pics.

Triple 13 is an all purpose lawn and garden fertilizer.  Mostly for St. Augustine lawns in my area.

Some might argue that there might be too much nitrogen in this product which would promote root growth at the expense of flowers or fruit (depending on where you're planning on using it).

Wherever you use it, make sure you water it in thoroughly.  This stuff will burn everything if there's no water to start breaking it down.  If it is allowed to stay on concrete (in the garage or on a driveway) it will stain and or corrode (just like that caution warning on the package).

Thank you. Going to use it on my 40 in ground figs so it wont be a whole lot to go around. Thanks for your input. Richie

It's fine for figs as a one time, quick burst.  It will be gone in 2 weeks or so.  Don't use it on blueberries, they don't like the chloride.

Do you mean the fertilizer will be washed away in 2 weeks?

figpig_66,
from what I have read and heard from other fig collectors, you should stay away from any type of Nitrogen (N) base fertilizer, for its to promote green growth and roots. That's if you want figs on your trees ;)
I hope I am not too late warning you about this.
Good luck?
Frank Q.

I haven't done anything yet. Just gathering information from my peers. And thank you all

Hi Richie,
It is a general purpose fertilizer, but 13/13/13 means that it is a bit strong. I generally use 7/7/7 or 10/10/10 .
So just use less quantity at a time.
In the growing season, I use the 10/10/10 by a closed hand full once a month , in the 80 liters trashcans or in ground.
If the pots are smaller, you should use less . But you can definitively use that product for your fig trees!

Thank you. I will try it out with a closed ha d full like you suggested. Want to see if it will help fight back against rust.
