Is chichen manure good for fig tree as fertilizer

Hello EDoukas,
Thank you very much for your so detailed informations advising me that I can use chicken manure for my in ground and potted fig trees with no problem. I really appreciate it very much.
As per your informations, I can simply put some chicken manure on the surface of the potted and in ground plants that will do right?

Yes sir!

~i use fish emulsion on all my plants ,it is mixed with water .it will never burn and is exactly what the trees /plants love. i have a green house and about 35 fig trees it's all i need ,i can get all the manure i want but fish is better for me it is like 5% nitrogen and the other two #'s are 1 i think so it can't hurt anything anytime~ (5-1-1)

I have burnt many younger fig plant roots with cheaper fertilizers and I will never use them except
miracle gro. I have tried chicken, cow and mushroom fertilisers in my vege and wife's flower bed and
the plants love them.

~you are welcome ,you really got to be careful fertilizing, fig trees do not require as much as you might think, through my 3 years rooting and growing now,i found out  it's best to take it easy ,and not to over feed them~

~ and i do truck farming of all sorts of veggies, they are a lot diff fertilizing than your fig trees~

Thanks again for your reminder. Since I just bought two bags of chicken manure from the local nursery this morning, can I just put very little on the surface of potted and in ground soils then cover by by Scotts Nature Scapes mulch.

~yes  light amount should be ok ,that manure is probably aged ,and i wouldn't do it any more this year, but i'm no pro you might wait for the pro's to chime in ~

I use rabbit scat. It's like little time release pellets! The worms love it as well.
