This little tree is so far behind my others, yet the growth has been some of the best! But figs are just starting, being already past the first week in July will they ripen? Thank I'm in zone 7a jersey shore

For sure yes!You can always bring it in and put in a sunny window if the figs haven't ripened by the time the hard frost hits.
